This section explains how to certify a document using the platform’s user interface. Certifying a document means creating a blockchain-based timestamp for a specific file, including optional metadata and visual watermarking.

Step 1: Browse and Select File

Begin by uploading the document you want to certify. Click the Browse files button and select the file from your device, or drag and drop from your folder.

Step 2: Preview and Add Watermark

After uploading, you will see a preview of the document. At this stage, you can choose to add a visual watermark that indicates the document is certified.

2.1 Select Document Type

Choose the type of document you are certifying. This helps the platform apply the right context and settings.

2.2 Position the Watermark

You can adjust where the watermark appears on the document by selecting it with your mouse, and dragging it across the preview. By selecting Default Settings, one is also able to position the watermark manually.
